Hair Flip
The motion of this girl flipping her hair was stopped in an instant which creates a really great effect. You can sense the motion that was taking place even though you only see a fraction of a second of it happening.

Wine Glass
This still-life picture is much like a drawing, a still-life can be produced in a photo as well. Studio photographers often use still-life's to show commercial products, sometimes using special effects to fool the eye.

Headshot
This photo was taken using studio or natural lighting to highlight and accentuate the subject. In this case the portraiture is a headshot. Many models will use this type of photograph to market themselves.

Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is a magnificent structure that is the subject in this architectural photo. Using seemingly plain parts of a structure, a photographer can make a dull structure look spectacular by simply highlighting small parts or areas. Likewise, a large structure may be brought more into perspective and shown on a smaller scale, giving the viewer the ability to view it as a whole.
