Life's Journey through my eyes

Motivated Mama – Day 2

Well, I forgot to mention that I began this journey yesterday. By logging my weight and starting a new diet (not counting calories diet, just healthy eating diet), and exercise. I ended up feeling very full all day and quite proud of myself for doing this wonderful 10 minute workout.I ended up losing .6 ;b in just one day. And I’m not trying to lose weight :-)
So, today is day 2 and I once again ate a balanced diet. Omitting chocolate, junk, chips, and sodas is hard because I really like those tasty treats. Today I had a coupe scoops of fat free vanilla yogurt with about a quarter cup of diced strawberries. And my, oh, my was that yummy! What a tasty and healthy treat it was. I also did kettlebell swings for my exercise today. I used a 15 lb kettlebell and did 50 reps. I was totally exhausted after that and it felt so good. If you’ve never tried kettlebell swings you need to. It is a great workout. I get cardio along with strength at the same time.
Already feeling accomplished and still motivated, I am looking forward to tomorrow. Oh, and I can tell I already have a ton more energy throughout the day.
